Long ago there was a jungle it was filled with trees big and small all kinds of trees, there were many animals leaving in the jungle like the deer, wild hogs, rabbits and other woodland creatures but what the jungle had most was bird, Lots and Lots of birds , just as if to match the trees each very different and unique, some small some large all varying in size shape and color, all the birds and animals leaved peacefully together, there was plenty to eat and every one there was happy.
One day a heard of elephants came to the forest the elephants were big and strong there in the forest there was little grass for them to eat as the trees had taken up most of the space there,
The elephants started to tear down the branches of the trees and eat the leaves of the branches,
The Poor birds that were nesting on those trees were terrified the elephants were destroying tree after tree, the birds started to make noise to draw the attention of the elephants but to no avail, then some of the birds started to pick the elephants and the elephants simply swatted the away with branches they were eating .
There was a huge Din around and one of the elderly birds asked everyone to calm down as he went to speak with the leader of the Elephant Heard the 'matriarch' he told her that there is a great land covered with grass just near the forest, she the 'elephant mother' told the bird that she was aware of the land but the root has been blocked due to the bridge that was there over the gorge has been broken, we would gladly go there she said but we just can not.
The old bird flew from there and had a look around he saw a very Big Tree near the gorge but the tree was rotten near the roots and was looking weak, He Chirped loudly to one of the young elephants you think you are so strong you well are not, You are only able to break small trees can you break this big tree, the young elephant looked at him and said i don`t need to i have plenty here . Ha Ha Laughed the bird so you admit you are weak, the young elephant got mad and went straight charging to the tree but the tree did not budge, the bird looked saddened the elephant mother then said to a couple of young ones "Are you going to just look on go and help him" she then looked up to the bird and smiled.
The other elephants also charged the tree they shook the tree heavily till it fell down and started to laugh at the bird, have you any doubts now, the elephant mother came to them and said we must go now. But the elephants said we haven't eaten any thing yet, she said leave the trees to the birds we will eat some grass now, but how they said, to that she smiled and said you all just created a bridge across the gorge.
The Elephants looked and indeed they had created a way to the green pastures they were all very happy and moved to the grass land the Birds and the Elephants were both happy.
